Description
As a server at Islington golf club, I came across Jonas club management system which is essentially an old-school POS (point of sale) system. This platform helps a new empoyee understand the crucial elements of the system easily
Problem definition
A server’s job is to quickly enter an order into the POS system and send it across to the kitchen and/or bar as it naturally takes a while for order preparation. And for a new employee, this process can be time consuming because of a confusing and typical structure of the software.
Solution
The idea was to make the interface familiar & obvious for a user to interact with. The first step was to remove unwanted text and last but not least, adding a subtle yet powerful feature of a search bar.

The approach was to have lesser steps to reach the final goal (sending the order to the kitchen) & quicker. All started with editing elements and adding features.
